IAF Recognizes FSSC 22000 Food Safety Scheme

FSSC2200 approved as an MLA alias, this is stated on the website of the official website of the IAF. The MLA Agreement between the IAF and the Foundation FSSC 22000 was signed by Xiao Jianhua, Chairman of the IAF, and Aldin Hilbrands, CEO of the Foundation FSSC 22000 on March 12, 2021. As stated in the article, “Certification Bodies (CBs) operating in accordance with Version 5 or higher of FSSC 22000 must be accredited by an accreditation body recognized in accordance with the IAF MLA for Level 2 Management System Certification.”
The inclusion of the FSSC 22000 scheme in the IAF MLA means that IAF MLA signatories recognized for the FSSC 22000 subarea will recognize as equivalent certificates issued by certification bodies accredited by all other signatories of the FSSC 22000 subarea.
