In response to situations where the pandemic situation, such as travel restrictions, social distancing, and health and safety concerns, takes precedence over mandatory scheduled onsite or remote assessments, the IAF and ILAC have developed a pandemic assessment. Alternate signatories of the IAF Multilateral Recognition Agreement (MLA) or ILAC Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) for COVID-19.
This declaration permits the opt-out of remote viewing and evaluation of documents only in emergency situations related to the pandemic, under certain conditions specified in the declaration.
P.S. We believe that this is a quick and necessary solution during a pandemic, as in such times, health security is incredibly important. And such a solution allows you to work efficiently and not create unnecessary risks to the health of all participants in the chain.
